The e-book version of "Slam Dunk" is now on sale. Takehiko Inoue's popular basketball manga is finally available as an e-book!

 

The digital (e-book) version of the popular manga "SLAM DUNK" by manga artist Takehiko Inoue will be available from June 2, 2025. The e-book of the same work has been waiting for a long time among fans, but it will be the long-awaited e-book version.

"SLAM DUNK" is a basketball manga that was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from 1990~1996. The film centers on Hanamichi Sakuragi, a basketball beginner who enters Shohoku High School, and depicts the growth of the players who devote themselves to high school basketball and the clashes in the game. The cumulative circulation has exceeded 120 million copies, and in 2022, the movie "THE FIRST SLAM DUNK" was a huge hit at the box office, earning over 15 billion yen.

In addition, the author, Takehiko Inoue, said on SNS, "If you make it spread on a large tablet terminal, it may be the closest to the manuscript and easy to read." Along with digitization, he also conveyed positive comments, saying, "You can see the throat (the part where the book is bound) clearly."
