The daily game show "Bakarigem" screamed "Is this show okay?" Stupidism plays the game for two hours earnestly. Infiltrate the shooting site in a relaxed manner
It's fun to play games with your friends. That's what this show can be described in one word.

From April 2025, a new game show
"Bakarigem" with Bakari Rhythm as the MC will be broadcast on Fuji TV ONE.

In the first broadcast, we invited Yuki Himura of Banana Man as a guest and
enjoyed playing "Ryu Ga Gotoku 8 Gaiden: Pirates in Hawaii".

Infiltration coverage of the second recording!

Mr. Bakari and his long-time friend Hidetsugu Shibata, an untouchable man, will be invited as guests to "
Split Fiction" and "Powerful Pro Baseball 2025" We played in a friendly manner.

In this article, we will report on the recording and deliver an interview with Mr. Bakarisu!

Bakari Rhythm

Born in 1975. He is a comedian, screenwriter, and actor who belongs to Maseki Entertainment Company. He debuted in 1995 as a comedy duo "Bakari Rhythm" and has been active as a pin comedian since 2005. He has won the TV program "IPPON Grand Prix" the most times in history. He has also demonstrated his talent as a screenwriter, and has produced a series of topical works, such as "Fictional Office Lady Diary," which was dramatized from a fictitious blog diary that he continued to write while pretending to be an office lady, and "Brush Up Life," which depicts a time leap. The latest installment, Hotspot, aired in January 2025. Stupidism in the sentence.

Hidetsugu Shibata

He is in charge of the comedy duo Untouchables belonging to the production company. His partner is Hiroya Yamazaki. Born in Shizuoka Prefecture. In the 1990s, he appeared on many game shows "Game Wave" (TV Tokyo). In 2004, he won the M-1 Grand Prix. Yamazaki's unpredictable bokeh is popular for his sharp tsukkomi that cuts back with fast and accurate words. I like animals. In the text, Shibata.

Playing games[IMAGE]
Play Split Fiction right away...... I thought so, but it started with a chat when we met.

Mr. Bakarisu, who is in the same grade (born in 1975), and Mr. Shibata are friends who call him "Shibacho" and "Hide". Moreover, Mr. Shibata was rejected by the Japan Film School (Utchannanchan's alma mater), which Mr. Bakari passed (Utchannanchan's alma mater). ) too.

In the past, the comedian Yutei often
held "Power Pro" tournaments at Mr. Shibata's house, and in addition to Mr. Himura and Mr. Yutei, there were also Mr. Hana of the Knights, and it seems that they used to hold game tournaments with quite luxurious men.

At that time, there was only a PlayStation at Mr. Shibata's house, and Mr. Bakari and Mr. Himura rushed over to play games (laughs).

It was a
mysterious floor plan with three water channels even though it was not large (laughs). Mr. Himura borrowed a card to rent a video, but he didn't return it, so the late fee was amazing.

…… When the old story was blooming, Mr. Shibata said, "Don't you have to play games?"

By the way, this program has a style similar to that of a live broadcast that is almost unedited, with a two-hour recording and a two-hour broadcast. In other words, it does not mean that "even if you talk about something that is not related to the main plot, you can have it edited later ~", and the chat will be broadcast as it is.

That's probably why I was worried about the chatter-based proceedings of the game show. According to Mr. Shibata
"The script of the program only explains the operation keys!", It seems that the program production is quite free.

Stupidity
Back
then, I really wanted to be on TV every day, and since that time, the programs have been narrowed down and the talent that appears has been narrowed down, but with such a free program...... It's a luxury.

"It's true!" he said with a sharp quip that was typical of Mr. Shibata.

Play "Split Fiction" > "Power Pro 2025"

"Split Fiction" is an action game in which two people work together in a split-screen format. The combination of the two holds the key to the strategy......

But,
Shibata
L3? L3 which?

Stupidism
Okay, I'm going to go all at once with a dash...... Slow!

Shibata:
Where should I go?

Stupidism
here, here! It's okay to jump once, it's okay to jump once.

…… And play it as if you were playing at a friend's house. The advice, anger, reprimand, and unreserved exchange made me feel that the two were on good terms.

Shibata
Even
when I watch a movie, I'm silent all the time, so I feel like "Is this okay, or is it really a TV recording right now?"

But hey, if you're watching, you want to see the screen of the game now! Because you might be thinking.

Shibata:
That's it, that's it. This one makes me feel like I have to put it in when I'm watching V. Is it okay?

There are also scenes where I am confused by the atmosphere of the program, which is too loose (laughs).

In "Powerful Pro Baseball 2025", the match will be played between All Central and All Pacific. It's just that they played quite a bit during the PlayStation and PlayStation 2 eras, and both of them are quite skilled.

Mr. Shibata scored the first goal, but Mr. Bakari showed a good blow and turned the game around at once! Shibata, who was defending the game, also struck out the side and ...... the game to be heated.

When
I noticed it, I was silently doing "Power Pro"!

He was so focused that he played.
[IMAGE][IMAGE][IMAGE]

The secret story of Mr. Ueda also pops out

In between games, there was still time for small talk, and various episodes were told.

When he was a young man, he watched Shibata buy vocabulary books, proverbs, and dictionaries to expand his vocabulary. In fact, Mr. Shibata had a role model for his actions, and that was Shinya Ueda of Kurimushichu.

Shibata
Actually, I saw Ueda jotting down various phrases on his PC, such as "Your heart has always been shorts." When I wanted to say something like, "I'm not a kid," I didn't just say it, I had to remember to rephrase it by saying, "My heart is shorts," and that's what I did, so I imitated it.

Also, I'd like to ask you because it's a good opportunity, why is it that half of the drama written by Hide is a coffee shop scene? I actually watch a lot of dramas.

Stupidism
(the latest drama) "Hot Spot" is also there. Well, let's go, a coffee shop.

Shibata:
Are you going to go like that?

Stupidism
Normally, I
would be a bar, but I don't drink alcohol myself, so I don't have the idea of going to a bar. I don't know if there's anything going on, but I was there for 2~3 hours in front of Meidai. It's me and Mr. Himura. That's what it feels like.

Shibata:
How do you come up with a script? At the end, the foreshadowing of the previous episodes is very connected.

I'm
talking
about the same thing as my general local friends ~ (laughs).

Shibata
(laughs). I really think so. In the first episode of "Brush Up Life," just when you thought that a leisurely story had begun, it was actually pretended, and at the end, everything is connected. Did you think about that from the beginning?

Stupidism
I don't know if it's going to connect, but I've got a lot of things on it. I haven't decided on the final episode, but I'll sprinkle it in. As I write, I'm saying, "Please keep this, cut this out." Even after the script was printed, I would tell them on set, and if I could make it in time for editing, I would ask them to do something about it.

Shibata
Heh ~ Sometimes I think about it as an afterthought! It's not directly related to the story, but it was foreshadowing...... It feels good to say that.

Stupidism
When I first write, I don't think it's going to connect. That's the story, isn't it? "Cover". I don't write at first, thinking that it will be like that later.

Shibata:
The story of The Untouchables doesn't have a script. It's haphazard. From our point of view, it's like Anjash or something, but at any time, any customer will tell the same joke and get the same laughter. It's better to fit it properly. I'm sure I'll be fine-tuning it by ad-libbing.

No
, I'm
not addicted to it at all! (laughs)

Shibata
(laughs). In fact, I'm going to a solo concert with Silly. Just take the gift.

Why
don't you say it (laughs).

Shibata:
It's good to go secretly, I love going to people's concerts. So I put on a V-neck, and suddenly Hide started "messing with people wearing V-necks", and the normal customers sitting on the left and right glanced at me and giggled (laughs).

Stupidism
That joke (laughs).

…… It proceeded harmoniously until the end, and the recording ended in exactly two hours. Please check the finish on Fuji TV ONE and FOD.

Interview with Mr. Bakari

Next, we will deliver an interview with Mr. Bakarisu, who has written many dramas and movies! We talked about his youth reading Weekly Famitsu, his memories of the 1980s, and even the topic of "How do you find time to play games when you're so busy?"

――You previously posted a photo on social media that you bought the 1980s Famicom News and Weekly Shonen Jump.

Bakari Rhythm
Yes, I bought one from the 1980s. Oh, I might have this issue (while picking up the photo sample magazine I brought). Famitsu is the only game magazine left now, isn't it?

――There used to be a lot of them.
Bakari Rhythm
There
used to be a lot of "Family Computer Magazine" (Tokuma Shoten Intermedia) and "Marukatsu Famicom" (Kadokawa Shoten). "Weekly Famitsu" is amazing, isn't it?
* The name of the publisher is that of that time.
――Could you explain again that "Bakarigem" is this kind of program?

Bacalism
That's right. It's a show where I just invite people I'm close to to the studio and play games, chat, and eat snacks together...... I'm sorry to explain it every time, but it's just a fun show.
――It's exactly what you just explained, but when the reader sees it, they may be thinking, "What does that mean?"

Bakariism
That's right. But it's really a talk, or a chat. It's not so much an episode talk as it is a conversation about each other's memories. Of course, we also talk about games.

――Do you decide who will be the guest?

Stupidism
While
having the staff bring it up at the meeting, I also said it somehow. It's usually people of the same generation, people I'd like to talk to in the future, and people who like games.

――In terms of age, there are still many people who are in the NES direct hit generation.

Bacalism
That's right. Isn't it a different feeling of excitement for the NES generation when they see the graphics of the latest generation models? After all, because I know the past, I know the evolution. In that sense, it's fun to be able to talk about things like that with people of my generation.

――Is there an issue that makes you jump when you see the old Famitsu around here?

Stupidism
Then it's time for the NES.
――This is the 1988 issue, isn't it?
Wow
, it's already 'Double Dragon', it's so nostalgic. Even so, the format is 'Kunio-kun', and 'Captain Tsubasa' is also amazing. This is a hot soccer game, and you can choose a command. It's shocking, isn't it?

――You say that you use text and command selection to express football. It's really an invention, isn't it?

Stupidism
It's amazing, isn't it? But it was interesting, wasn't it? It's a masterpiece, isn't it? For a moment, I wonder what it means to say, "I don't have enough guts!" Eh, "Haadogumi" was out in the game. "Omoikkiri Detectives: The Evil Fury Group" (1988 / Disk System / Bandai). Did you know?
* The manufacturer's name is that of that time.
――Hey...... I don't know.
Bakari Rhythm
Based
on the original story by Shotaro Ishinomori, the tokusatsu drama "Ganbare!! Robocon" (which began airing in 1974), and later "Puella Magi Chunai Panema!" (broadcast in 1989) and "Bishoujo Kamen Poitrin" (broadcast in 1990) were a little earlier.

It's like a group of elementary school kids forming a group of detectives and taking on a person called "Matenro", who is like the final boss. I really liked it when I was in elementary school, and at that time,
there was a sequel called "Jaman Detectives: Maringumi" (broadcast in 1988......). No one understands this story! (laughs.)

――I'm sorry (laughs).

Stupidism: Oh, it's "Bebop"! "Be Bop High School: The Legend of High School Paradise" (released in 1988 / Family Computer / Data East) I was 13 years old this year, so I guess I was in junior high school. And I remember watching Bebop a lot, so it was amazing.

In terms of generation, this issue is hot because it contains a game that is playing quite a bit. "
Hokkaido Chain Murder: Disappearing in Okhotsk" (1987 / ASCII) has already come out. Scary, amazing. I'm sure you've seen this issue at the time.

This is Dragon Quest. Dragon Quest is also on it. But Dragon Quest isn't 1988, is it?
* The manufacturer's name is that of that time.
――The NES version has already been released, and this page seems to be a special page about the MSX version coming out.

Do you mean the PC version of Stupidism? I see. Before the release, I was like, "This is Alefgard!" and I can't stand it. Now in my imagination, I've been traveling for a long time before it starts. 1988 was probably my hottest.

――There is a bookshelf in the editorial department of Weekly Famitsu that contains one back issue each, and when I look at old issues on that bookshelf, I still read them (laughs).

Bakariism
That's right. After all, I watch Famitsu from the era I'm addicted to. I really want Weekly Famitsu to continue for a long time.

Games I've been addicted to lately

――In the first broadcast, you played "Ryu Ga Gotoku 8 Gaiden: Pirates in Hawaii", but you said that you have always liked the "Ryu Ga Gotoku" series.

Bakari Rhythm
"Ryu Ga Gotoku 8 Gaiden" is also interesting~. I've been a fan of Ryu Ga Gotoku since the beginning. From the beginning. Maybe it's because I've always liked Yankee manga and games with Yankee characters.

also liked fighting games, so when Ryu ga Gotoku came out, it was a natural thing to come to. It was a natural progression, and I played all the games from there. Both "Gaiden" and "Ryu Ga Gotoku Goku". I think I've probably done all of the remade ones.

――What about "Ryu Ga Gotoku Restoration"?

also did "Restoration"!

――Some zombies come out.

Bakari
Rhythm "Ryu ga Gotoku OF THE END" It was a lot of fun. I laughed, but suddenly Kiryu punches the zombies (laughs). There are games like that, and I would like to see a slightly weird gaiden work come out again.

――As you mentioned earlier, did you read the Famicom News in the 1980s?

Stupidism
was reading it. At that time, I probably read every game magazine that caught my eye. When I was in elementary school, I think it was a monthly magazine, but when the new Dragon Quest magazine came out, I bought it, read it, and was excited to say, "Yes, yes, yes, oh~". Someone in my class has the latest issue. So I was like, I'm going to read it.

Rather than looking at strategy information or information after it was released, there may have been more people who were excited to see the screen photos and information during development and imagine it. This is especially true for the Dragon Quest series.

Speaking of which, I remember reading a lot of "Famicom Priesthood" in Weekly Shonen Jump.

――Do you have any memories of the games you were most addicted to at that time, or the games you were playing?

Stupidism
: The
first game I played was Mario Bros.

――Is that it? For those who are not supermarkets, for those who come out with crabs and flies.

Stupidism
Oh
yes! I was playing "Mario Bros." with a fixed screen and a non-scrolling screen.

That was the first software I bought. And it's been a long time. Even though the shape of the screen doesn't change at all, the color changes slightly, and the characters that appear change, it was fun and I kept doing it. I think I went up to 50 or so. Is it going to last forever? (laughs)

So I went to 50 or so sides, but it was kind of reset by the vibration. I understand? Even though I haven't pressed the power supply or anything, it's like my foot hits it a little and it resets. That was the end of it, but that's about it.

――I understand (laughs). Nowadays, such accidents are almost gone.

Stupidism
After that, when I was in high school, the Super Nintendo Entertainment System came out, and I was so shocked that I thought, "It's already a live-action movie!" At the time, the graphics were insanely beautiful compared to the NES. When I look at it now, it's still 2D and the image quality is normal, but I remember being shocked by the feeling of "Wow, what a realistic screen."

I
used to play F-ZERO on the Super Nintendo, and it was interesting to see several pieces of software released at the same time as the main console, but I especially enjoyed F-ZERO. I just kept doing it. Also, I think it's SimCity.

――When you were playing with Mr. Himura and Mr. Shibata at the time of recording, it was around the time of the original PlayStation.

Bacalism
That's right. I think it's still 1 on the PlayStation. After that, a version called PS One was released.

――Yes, it was white and small.

Bakari Rhythm
That was a little cheap, so I saved up some money and bought it for Mr. Himura. But at that time, Mr. Himura was receiving money from his parents' house. I'm already a good adult. I was appalled by that story (laughs).

Mr. Shibata's house originally had a PlayStation console, so I bought it for Mr. Himura and played it together.

――What kind of games do you mainly play these days?

Bakari Rhythm
"Dragon Quest" series, "Ryu ga Gotokuseries, or something I've been doing for a long time, and when a new work comes out, I'll do it.

But when I'm on a deadline, I'm patient. Ryu Ga Gotoku Gaiden was released a long time ago, but I couldn't do it right away, so I was finally able to do it after the live performances had settled down.

However, I can't leave it at home, so I go to a separate workshop to work on it, and I do my best to finish it a little early.Let them proceed with the extra hour...... I finally finished "Ryu Ga Gotoku 8 Gaiden" the other day.

――The volume of the "Ryu ga Gotoku" series is amazing.

Stupidism
That's right. That's why I can't really see the story anymore (laughs). Time is limited, so it takes a long time to watch the event scenes, so I skip over them, and sometimes I wonder why I'm fighting (laughs). But well, Gaiden is relatively short.

――You've written many dramas and movies, including your latest work, Hotspot, but did your experience playing games help you with this script, or was it influenced by you?

Stupidism
: I've been influenced the most by games. I haven't seen any dramas or movies, so it's completely a game idea that is influenced by the game, or that the development and development change depending on the choices you make.

When I first wrote the drama
series, the drama "Nice Selection Taxi" (broadcast in 2014) was a drama that I made with that kind of command-type novel game in mind.

In games, we usually do this kind of "choice of choice" as a matter of course, so we "go back to the choice". I think that idea was at the root of it from the beginning. That's why games have such a big impact.

――There's a scene in "Brush Up Life" (broadcast in 2023) where you're playing "Ace Attorney 2". Will "Reverse Trial" also be played?

I've
done it before, and the character Asami Kondo, who was played by Sakura Ando, in "Reverse TrialI'm of the generation that was really into it, so I use it as a depiction of that.

So I did some research on that and looked up what kind of games were the ones that the character was passionate about when he was a teenager, and I heard that it was "Reverse Trial" and I got into it.

How to find game time

――Lastly, I'd like to ask you a few questions, but I think that a common problem for game fans over the age of 30 is that they want to play games, but they don't have the time to do them.

Bakari Rhythm
That's right. Yes, I understand.

――In such a situation, how do you secure time for games by being a comedian, being an MC, and also writing a drama script and doing live performances?

I'm
already playing in the workshop. That's also the workshop for that purpose (laughs). There was a TV and a game console.

――Even though it's a workplace!

Stupidism
After
all, it's a work and a playground, that's why.

I'm also working on it, and it's one of my motivations to say, "I want to play that game for an hour today, so I'm going to do my best to finish that work a little early."

There are quite a few times when I try to finish it in one hour, or if I finish it by what time I can do it, I can do it in 30 minutes.

Also, I'm on the move. Nowadays, the same is true for Nintendo Switch, and games of the quality that were originally played on home consoles can now be played in portable mode.

――"Let's do our best to finish work one hour early so that we can play games!"

Bacalism
That's right. Let's get it done!
